About Dani
Dani has always had a passion for music. She has been singing since she was about 2 years old. She has a raw talent that is unmistakable to anyone who hears her. Hearing her live sends chills throughout your body. As she grows and matures in that talent, her gifting becomes more and more obvious.
This blog started when Dani was featured nationally on Fox News just after the season premier of American Idol. She was sought out by Fox News in Minneapolis to appear on their local fox news because a reporter saw a video that was placed on YouTube for her out of state family to see. They were so impressed with her, they agressively sought an interview with her having her sing live on the air. They featured her as an “Up and Coming American Idol”.
When the interview was complete and the story was edited, the national affiliates liked the story so much, they ran it nationwide the same night. In an effort to reach out to all those who encouraged her, this blog was built. Now she updates this blog with new videos for all to see and greatly appreciates the love and encouragement she receives from her readers.
Dani started out very shy and afraid of performing publicly. YouTube videos were key in building her confidence. Since this blog began, her talent has improved, matured, and grown. She was chosen for the lead role in “Annie” in the local theatre and was a HUGE hit, developing more fans along the way.
Presently Dani sings with her Worship Team at church (The Newton Church of the Way) and is being mentored by an amazing team of leadership within the church including Pastor Steve Heerema, Worship Leader Matthew Hugg, long time family friend and a huge encouragement for her, Jerry Lee Chandler and an amazing woman of God, Betty Samson.
Dani is a firm believer in being trusted with the gifts God has given you and prospering where you are planted. Her greatest desire is to be a role model for young girls and to glorify Jesus! The strongest desire of her heart is to live a life that glorifies the Lord and shows young girls everywhere that you don’t have to compromise your principles or moral compass to succeed in life! She encourages all around her to DREAM BIG and go after the destiny God has planned for you!
