Good morning to you! I just wanted to send out an update to all of you regarding the “Oh Say Can You Sing” contest Dani is competing in. It’s a VERY close contest and the leader changes hour to hour each day. The contest ends Tuesday, August 2nd at NOON CST and you may continue to support Dani by voting for her 5 times a day between now and then.

Dani will be featured in the Newton Daily News today. I am not sure what time the online version updates, but you can check it out at www.newtondailynews.com

I wanted to take the time to personally thank you for supporting and encouraging Dani in this contest. It has truly blessed her to receive this kind of love and support. Complete strangers have approached her and said, “Hey, I am voting for you” and we are WELL aware that is the efforts of all of you who are passing the word on for others to vote for her. Please thank them on behalf of Dani. She really does appreciate it!

One final thing to remember, with the contest ending at NOON next Tuesday, you will need to be sure to cast your 5 votes before noon that day! Dani definately needs every one of your votes to win this with it being such a close race!

Dani is holding strong in 2nd place by 166 votes right now in the “Oh Say Can You Sing” competition. Contestant #16 has received local media coverage and Dani has been able to maintain that close vote count with your support! Thank you for all of your encouragement and support for her. Some GREAT news! WHO TV may run the story locally and the local newspaper called me this morning wanting to feature Dani in an article of the newspaper! Very exciting stuff!

The Iowa State Fair has over 100,000 fair goers daily, so Dani could be singing in front of a crowd of 100,000 people with your help!
